Being loose wire, you space the cables yourself to set the heat output you want per square metre. The Thermonet cable uses 3.5mm TwistedTwin construction, a stress-free build that lasts longer and produces zero electromagnetic field (Zero EMF). Ask your electrician to handle the wiring.

The Thermonet mat installs above the screed, directly under tiled floors. Its self-adhesive mesh holds everything in place, which makes self-levelling and tile fixing easier. That mesh also keeps the cable spacing even, so heat spreads consistently across the floor. Warm tiles in July: it's a treat. Underfloor heating is an electrical job, so this is one to hand to your electrician.

The Thermogroup Underfloor Heating 200W/m² Full Kit warms your tiled floor on demand, so it's a practical addition when you're laying new tiles or refreshing a bathroom, kitchen or living space. Everything arrives ready to install: a Thermonet 200W/m² Mat, Programmable Thermostat, Floor Temperature Sensor, Sensor Conduit, Cable Monitor and Installation Guide. Just pick your space size from the drop-down, with kits available from 1 square metre through to 10 square metre. The mat lays either under the screed or above the screed, directly under the tiles, so it fits a range of floor build-ups. Made in the UK. It's backed by a lifetime warranty, plus a 3 year warranty on thermostats, which tells you what Thermogroup thinks of it.

• Thermonet uses a 3.5mm TwistedTwin cable, a stress-free construction that lasts longer and delivers zero electromagnetic field (Zero EMF)
• The mat installs wire-side-down, so the hard-wearing mesh layer protects the heating cable from damage while you fit it

The Thermonet 150W/m² mat is made for installation above the screed, directly under tiled floors. It lays wire-side-down, which means the hard-wearing mesh protects the heating cable while it goes in. Backed by a lifetime warranty on the system, plus a 3 year warranty on the thermostats.

• The Dual Control Thermostat (5245) runs your underfloor heating and a second appliance, such as a heated towel rail, on separate schedules from the one controller, so each works to suit your routine
