Heated rails that stand alone or swing out

Not every bathroom has a free wall for a fixed heated rail. This small range offers two other answers: freestanding heated towel rails that stand on the floor, and swivel rails whose bars swing out from the wall so towels are easy to load. Choose from eight bar freestanding rails, four bar swivel rails and a tall eight bar swivel ladder, in matte black or polished stainless steel.

Check the space first. A freestanding rail needs clear floor area, and a swivel rail needs room for its bars to swing, so compare the dimensions on the product page with your bathroom. Every rail in the collection is electric, so check how each one is powered. Anything hardwired must be connected by a licensed electrician, and so must any new power point.

What is a swivel heated towel rail?

A wall mounted heated rail with bars that pivot, so they can swing out for loading towels and back towards the wall afterwards.

Do freestanding heated towel rails need an electrician?

Check the product page for how the rail is powered. Hardwired rails must be connected by a licensed electrician, and so must any new power point a rail needs.

What sizes do freestanding and swivel rails come in?

The four bar swivel rails are listed at 595mm by 540mm, the eight bar swivel ladder at 570mm wide by 1260mm high, and the larger freestanding rail at 600mm by 1080mm by 300mm.

Can I use a timer with these rails?

Yes, optional timers can be used with hardwired heated rails. Ask your electrician which timer suits the model you choose.
