It's a structural steel frame that carries the load of a filled bath plus bathers, so there's no propping things up with scrap timber, bricks or foam. Those makeshift methods void the Decina warranty and won't properly support the bath when it's full. Decina recommends only two support methods: a full mortar bed or the Ezi Frame. It's made from galvanised steel with adjustable legs and fits under the bath on site. Pre-fit it or post-fit it, glue it to the base of the bath with construction adhesive, then screw the legs down to meet the sub floor. Putting in a new bath, or pulling out one that's seen better days? The Caroma Vivas Anti-slip Bath is a practical pick for the main bathroom at home or a holiday rental. It's built for a traditional built-in layout, so it sits against the wall with four tile flanges you tile straight over for a watertight, dust-tight seal. The end reclines gently, which gives you somewhere comfortable to lean back. Sanitary grade acrylic holds up to daily use over the long term, and the anti-slip base adds a bit of extra footing. Choose 1525mm or 1675mm. Measure your alcove first: acrylic doesn't stretch.

Four tile flanges let the bath tuck right against the wall and be tiled over, sealing out water and dust in a standard built-in setup.
