Pill Shape Basins

Vanity too shallow for the basin you want? The Raymor Lawson Semi Recessed Basin 500mm x 440mm in White sits half in the bench with the bowl standing proud of the front, which is how you fit a full oval basin onto a narrow cabinet. It's white vitreous china, 205mm deep, with a 5.2L bowl. There's one taphole for a basin mixer. The overflow has a chrome plated grille, and the chrome pop-up waste with hair catcher fits 32mm to 40mm plumbing. Cut-out template, plug and waste, overflow cap and installation instructions all come in the box. Covered by a 20 year warranty on the vitreous china, 5 years on the plug and waste and finishes, and 1 year on seals and labour.

• Semi recessed oval basin that overhangs the bench front, so a narrow vanity gets a full bowl
• 500mm x 440mm, 205mm deep, with a 5.2L bowl
• White vitreous china that stands up to daily scrubbing
• 1 taphole, so a basin mixer mounts on the basin
• Overflow with chrome plated grille, which drains the bowl if the plug is left in
• Chrome pop-up waste with hair catcher, compatible with 32mm to 40mm waste pipes
• Cut-out template and instructions in the box, backed by a 20 year warranty on the china

The front edge of the bench needs cutting for a semi recessed basin, so check with your joiner or plumber and use the supplied template.

Pair it with a Raymor basin mixer, or see the Lawson inset basin if your vanity has the depth.

Sitting a basin on top of the benchtop is one of the simplest ways to give a vanity a new look. The ADP Marilyn Above Counter Basin in Matte Forest does exactly that. It fits above the counter, so installation and cleaning stay straightforward, and it drops neatly into a replacement job when the old basin has had its day. Ceramic gives you a hard-wearing surface, finished in a rich forest green with a smooth matte look that suits plenty of modern bathrooms. The bowl holds 10.5L, so there's decent room for everyday use. At 550mm (W) x 100mm (H) x 350mm (D), it's a practical size for most benchtops. Quality you can trust at a fair price.

• Above-counter installation makes fitting and maintenance easy, which helps if you're doing part of the job yourself before your plumber connects it
• Ceramic construction with a matte forest green finish for a durable, hard-wearing surface
• Generous 10.5L bowl capacity gives you plenty of room for daily use
• Comes with no tap hole or overflow, so plan your tapware accordingly
• Suits a 32mm plug and waste (sold separately): choose one that matches your tapware to tie the look together
• Dimensions of 550mm (W) x 100mm (H) x 350mm (D), nominal only

Because ceramic is made by hand, expect a size variation of +/-5mm. That's the trade-off for a basin shaped by human hands rather than a machine. Measure your basin before installation, or ask your plumber.

Also available in 5 colours.
