Pill Shape Basins

Short on benchtop? A semi-inset basin buys you back some room. The ADP Rise 560 x 360 Semi-Inset Basin Gloss White sits neatly over the front edge of your vanity, so you keep more usable bench either side. That makes it a practical pick whether you're swapping out a tired basin or building a new bathroom from scratch. The tapered sides give it a clean shape, and the bowl's generous enough for everyday washing. Gloss white wipes clean with a cloth and holds its look over time. It's Australian made by ADP, a name trades and renovators know for well-built vanity fittings, so you're getting quality at a fair price. Also available in matte white if that suits your setup better.

• Semi-inset design that overhangs the vanity front, so you keep more usable benchtop space
• Tapered sides for a clean, streamlined shape that fits most vanity styles
• Generous bowl size that handles daily washing without splashing over
• Gloss white finish that's easy to keep clean and holds up well
• Australian made by ADP, a brand trades and renovators know for solid build quality

Plug and waste are sold separately: pick one that matches your tapware to tie the look together.

Fitting out a new vanity, or swapping out a tired old basin? The Fienza Jada Concrete Pill Basin Above Counter sits on top of the bench, so it's a straightforward job either way. At 600 x 280 x 120mm, the elongated pill shape gives you plenty of room for daily use without crowding the benchtop, with a 12.3 litre bowl capacity. It's cast from concrete and finished in a soft Warm White, which brings a solid, honest feel to the room. A food-grade nano sealant protects the surface and keeps it looking good. There's no overflow, so the lines stay clean and simple. Backed by a 2 year warranty.

• Cast from concrete with a food-grade nano sealant, so the surface is protected and built to last
• Warm White finish for a soft, natural look that works with a range of vanities
• Generous 600 x 280 x 120mm footprint gives you room to work while sitting neatly above the counter
• 12.3 litre bowl capacity for everyday use
• No overflow design keeps the lines clean and simple
• Requires a 32 mm non-overflow waste, which is not included, so factor that into your order
• Covered by a 2 year warranty

The waste isn't included, so grab a 32 mm non-overflow waste to suit, or ask your plumber to sort one on install day.

Concrete varies naturally in colour, so Fienza can't guarantee an exact match to the product images, and there's no sample service. Think of it as no two being quite the same. Also available in Warm Grey, Sage, Tuscan and Terrazzo.

Tight bathroom, or a powder room with barely a spare corner? That's exactly the job the Caroma Opal Sole Corner Wall Basin is built for. The distinctive corner shape pairs a curved bowl with a flat tap landing that suits a range of mixer taps. It's made from quality vitreous china, so it holds up to daily use and keeps its finish over the years. Being wall-hung, the floor underneath stays clear, which works a charm where you've got overhead storage or you'd rather skip the cabinetry altogether. Clean lines, no fuss, and a compact space that feels a little more open than it really is.

• Corner shape sits flush into the corner, which makes the most of limited space in powder rooms and small bathrooms
• Wall-hung mounting keeps the floor clear, ideal where you have overhead storage or don't need vanity cabinetry
• Flat tap landing takes a range of mixer taps, giving you flexibility on your tapware choice
• Quality vitreous china construction stands up to everyday wear and cleans up easily
• Comes with a white plug and chrome flush fitting waste, so the essentials are covered

Being wall-hung, the basin needs solid wall fixing behind it, so check the mounting with your plumber before install.
