Chrome Showers

Shower rail flimsy and the handset keeps slipping? The Caroma Opal Support Shower Rail Straight 900mm in Chrome looks like an ordinary slide rail but is built as a load bearing support rail: 32mm brass, polished chrome, constructed to withstand 1100N, which is around 110kg. That means if someone slips and grabs it, it holds. The chrome slider carries your existing hand shower up and down the 900mm length. Rail mounts with grub screws, drilling templates and a warranty card are in the box. The shower head, hose and wall elbow aren't in the box, so you can keep your current ones or choose new. Backed by a 20 year warranty (see the Caroma warranty document for what is covered). Made in China.

• 900mm straight rail that doubles as a vertical grab rail
• Built to withstand 1100N, around 110kg, so it's safe to lean on
• 32mm brass in polished chrome, which blends in with standard tapware
• Chrome shower slider included to hold your hand shower
• Rail mounts, grub screws and drilling templates in the box
• Shower head, hose and elbow not included, so you can reuse what you have
• 20 year warranty (see the Caroma warranty document for what is covered)

Needs solid fixing into framing or a reinforced wall; have your builder or plumber check the wall before drilling.

Want a horizontal hold as well? See the Opal Support Shower Rail 90 Degree.

Shower head stuck pointing at the wall? The Caroma Series A Adjustable Wall Shower in Chrome is a brass wall arm with a 105mm rose that gives you three sprays: a normal outer ring, a massage spray from the centre, or both together. The arm uses Caroma's patented Stayfast lock, so once you angle the rose it stays there instead of sagging back down. It reaches 249mm from the wall. The rose has a 9 litre a minute flow regulator fitted and is WELS 3 star rated, a fuller flow than most newer showers. It's a sensible swap for an old fixed arm and rose on a two tap or mixer shower. Backed by a 20 year warranty (see the Caroma warranty document for what is covered). Made in China.

• Three spray settings: normal, massage or combination, so everyone in the house gets a say
• Patented Stayfast arm lock that holds the angle you set
• 249mm reach from the wall, which gets the rose out over your head
• Brass construction under a chrome finish
• WELS 3 star at 9.0 litres a minute, flow regulator fitted
• 105mm rose, a compact size for smaller showers
• 20 year warranty (see the Caroma warranty document for what is covered)

Screws onto a standard wall shower outlet. Ask your plumber to check the thread and seal.

Fixed wall shower dripping or clogged? The Phoenix Ivy Shower Arm & Rose in Chrome gives you both parts in one box: a 262mm wall arm and a rose that screws onto existing half inch plumbing. It's metal and plastic construction with a chrome finish, and the squared-off Ivy styling suits most bathrooms. It's WELS 3 star rated for water efficiency. Phoenix covers the product and parts for 7 years, with 1 year on labour. It's a quick swap for a worn wall shower, and your plumber won't need to touch the wall.

• 7 year warranty on product and parts, 1 year on labour

Shower cubicle so small the rose hits your head? The Phoenix Ivy 3 Function Wall Shower & Arm in Chrome is built for small showers, with a short 169mm arm and a compact head that stays out of the way. The head has three spray functions and the angle adjusts, so you still get a choice of spray in a space where a big rose won't fit. It screws onto existing half inch plumbing, and it's metal and plastic construction with a chrome finish. It's WELS 3 star rated for water efficiency. Phoenix covers the product and parts for 7 years. If you're replacing a dripping or scaled-up wall shower in a caravan, ensuite or granny flat, this is the easy fix.

• 3 spray functions, so you still get options in a tight cubicle

Dropping a shower rose from a high ceiling? The Phoenix Lexi Ceiling Arm 450mm in Chrome is the arm only, no rose, and it hangs 450mm from the ceiling with an 80mm square flange to cover the outlet. Want the whole family happy under the one shower? The Fienza Tono Deluxe Twin Shower in Chrome gives you a 300mm overhead shower and an 80mm hand shower on the one rail. A diverter built into the top inlet lets you switch between them, and the slider sets the hand shower's height and angle, so tall and short users are both sorted. It's made from solid brass with a brass swivel joint and a stainless steel hose 1.5 metres long. Both heads are WELS 4 star: 7 litres a minute overhead and 6.5 litres a minute from the hand shower. Soft TPR nozzles wipe clean easily. It runs between 150 and 500kPa and connects to a female 1/2 inch BSP inlet. Backed by a lifetime warranty. Also available in Gun Metal, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black and Urban Brass.

Also available in Brushed Nickel, Gun Metal, Matte Black and Urban Brass.

• Water inlet and bracket combined on a soft square plate for a tidy install
• Tilting holder so you can angle the spray where you need it
• Solid brass in a chrome finish, made for daily use
• Stainless steel hose, 1.5 metres long, with plenty of reach
• WELS 3 star at 9 litres a minute for a decent flow
• TPR nozzles that wipe clean of build-up
• Lifetime warranty for long-term peace of mind

Check your pressure sits between 150 and 500kPa, and have your plumber confirm the supply point lines up with the back plate.

High ceiling leaving the shower head out of reach? The Nero Round Ceiling Arm 600mm Length in Chrome lowers the shower head 600mm from the ceiling, which suits taller rooms where a short arm would leave it too high. It's the long version of the round ceiling arm, made from brass. It takes a 1/2 inch female connection at the ceiling and has a male thread at the other end for the head. A round 58mm plate is supplied to cover the ceiling connection. The warranty runs 10 years.

• 600mm length that drops the head for high ceilings
• Brass body made for long-term use
• Threaded 1/2 inch female at the ceiling end, male where the head attaches
• Round 58mm ceiling plate in the box, in chrome
• 10 year warranty

A longer arm needs solid support above the ceiling, so ask your plumber to check the framing and measure the drop first.

Add a Nero shower head in Chrome to finish the job.

High ceiling and a shower head that feels miles away? The Nero Square Ceiling Arm 450mm Length in Chrome drops your shower head a full 450mm below the ceiling, so it's the longer option for rooms with a bit more height. Its square profile gives crisp, straight lines. It's brass, and a plate is included for the ceiling. The thread is 1/2 inch female where it meets the ceiling fitting and male at the shower head. Other lengths are made in the same range if 450mm is too much. Covered by a 10 year warranty. Also available in Matte Black.

• 450mm length for a proper overhead drop in rooms with higher ceilings
• Square profile arm with a plate supplied for a tidy ceiling finish
• 1/2 inch female ceiling thread and male shower thread for a standard fit
• Brass in a chrome finish, backed by a 10 year warranty

Measure from the ceiling to where you want the head before ordering, since 450mm is a long drop in a standard height room. Ask your plumber to check the threads.

Team it with a Nero Ecco Shower Mixer and an overhead shower head to complete the setup.

Short drop from the ceiling for a rain head? The Nero Round Ceiling Arm 100mm Length in Chrome brings a shower head just 100mm down from the ceiling, so the head sits up high and the water falls from above. It's brass, and it connects with a 1/2 inch female thread up top and a male thread where the head screws on. A round 58mm plate comes with it to finish the ceiling neatly. This is the short arm: the 600mm version suits rooms where the head needs to come lower. Nero covers it for 10 years. Also available in Brushed Bronze, Brushed Nickel, Gun Metal and Matte Black.

• 100mm length that keeps the shower head close to the ceiling
• Brass construction for a solid, long-lasting connection
• Female 1/2 inch thread into the ceiling, male thread for the head
• 58mm round plate included, finished in chrome
• 10 year warranty

Your plumber will need a firm fixing point above the ceiling, so have them check before you order.

Running a shower head down from the ceiling? The Nero Round Ceiling Arm 450mm Length in Chrome drops 450mm from the ceiling to carry an overhead shower head. It's brass: the top takes a 1/2 inch female connection and the bottom is male for the head, and a plate is supplied to cover the ceiling outlet. The round profile keeps things simple. It comes in other lengths too, so choose this 450mm arm when you want the head sitting lower. It has a 10 year warranty. Also available in Matte Black.

• 1/2 inch female connection up top, male below for the shower head
• Brass build that stands up to daily use

• chrome finish with a 10 year warranty

Check your ceiling outlet thread and ceiling height before ordering. Ask your plumber if you're unsure.

Need a shower that doubles as a grab rail? The Caroma Care Support Shower Set in Chrome combines a straight vertical grab rail with a hand shower, so the thing you hold for balance is also where the shower sits. The rail is 32mm grade 304 stainless steel tube with a 1.2mm wall, and Caroma states the rail meets AS 1428.1. A slider carries the hand shower up and down the rail, connected by a 1.5m Silverflex hose, and a double check valve is included. Inside the concealed flanges, the rubber seal has GermGard antimicrobial treatment. It's WELS 4 star at 7.5 litres a minute. Caroma gives 20 years on replacement products and 1 year on labour, so it's covered well past the install.

• Vertical grab rail and hand shower in one, for support right where you shower
• 32mm grade 304 stainless steel rail in chrome
• Slider sets the hand shower at whatever height suits the user
• 1.5m Silverflex hose for reach whether seated or standing
• GermGard antimicrobial seal inside the concealed flanges, which kills 99.9% of E. coli and Staph aureus in JIS Z 2801 testing
• Double check valve included
• WELS 4 star at 7.5 litres a minute

The rail needs solid backing in the wall; confirm the mounting height with your installer.

Add a Care Support grab rail or a folding shower seat to finish the space.

Two shower heads, one rail. The Fienza Kaya Twin Rail Shower in Chrome pairs a 250mm diameter overhead for full coverage with a hand shower on an adjustable slider, so you can set the height and angle to suit whoever's using it. An integrated top water inlet and diverter let you switch between the two. It's solid brass with an electroplated chrome finish, built to handle daily use in a family bathroom or a rental. The TPR nozzles wipe clean easily, so limescale doesn't get a chance to settle in. There's a single water-flow setting, and both heads are 3 star WELS rated at 9L/Min. It's designed to suit the Caroma Urbane II shower head, so it slots neatly into that setup. There's a 20 years warranty behind it. Fit it and forget it.

• Made to suit the Caroma Urbane II shower head for a clean, coordinated fit

Tall and sick of ducking under the shower head? The Raymor Projix Hi Rise Shower 3 Function in Chrome is a wall shower with a taller arm, so the rose sits higher than a standard wall shower and tall people get water on their head, not their chest. The arm and flange are brass with an electroplated finish, the 120mm rose is ABS with three spray settings, and the adjustment knobs hold the angle firmly once set. Reach from the wall is 250mm. WELS 3 star rated at 9.0 litres a minute. Arm and head come in one box, for a single connection to a G 1/2 female outlet. Warranty is 20 years on the brass arm and body, with the finish covered for 20 years in Chrome and 5 years in Black. Also available in Black.

• Taller arm that lifts the rose for tall people, without touching the ceiling
• 3 function 120mm head, so you can switch between spray patterns
• 250mm reach from the wall to keep the spray off the tiles
• Brass arm and flange, which won't sag over time
• Chrome electroplated finish on the arm and flange
• Adjustment knobs that hold the head at the angle you set
• WELS 3 star at 9.0 litres a minute, with a 20 year warranty on the brass arm

Wall mounted, connecting to a G 1/2 female outlet. Check the outlet height and the wall above it, because the arm rises well above the connection.

Pair it with Projix pin lever mixers, wall spouts and accessories in the same finish.

Cathedral ceiling putting the rose out of reach? The Raymor Ceiling Mount Straight Round Shower Arm 450mm in Chrome is the longest of the round ceiling arms, built for high ceilings where a short arm would leave the rose too far above your head. It's arm only, a straight round length of brass, so you choose the rose separately and match the size to the room. The ceiling flange and installation instructions are in the box. You get 20 years of warranty on the brass arm, with the finish covered for 20 years in Chrome and 5 years in Black, and 1 year on seals and labour. Also available in Black, and in 200mm and 300mm drops if the ceiling isn't that high.

• Long straight drop for tall ceilings, so the spray lands where it should
• Round profile that suits Raymor's round roses
• Brass arm, which holds a big stainless or ABS rose without drooping
• Arm only, letting you pick the head size and finish
• Chrome electroplated finish that matches the rest of the range
• Ceiling flange and installation instructions supplied
• 20 year warranty on the brass arm, 1 year on seals and labour

Ceiling mount, so allow for pipework in the ceiling space. Get your plumber to confirm the drop against your ceiling height before you buy.

Moving the shower head to the ceiling in a standard height room? The Raymor Ceiling Mount Straight Round Shower Arm 200mm in Chrome does one job: it holds your shower rose 200mm below the ceiling on a straight, round brass arm. It's sold without a head, so you can fit a Raymor round rose in the size you want. The arm is brass all the way through, with a flange to cover the ceiling cut out and installation instructions in the pack. On a standard ceiling the 200mm drop keeps the rose clear of tall heads but still close enough for good spray. Warranty is 20 years on the brass arm, 20 years on the finish for Chrome and 5 years for Black, and 1 year on seals and labour. Also available in Black, plus 300mm and 450mm drops.

• 200mm drop that suits standard ceiling heights
• Round profile, so it matches round roses like the Alpha and Raven
• Brass arm, which won't flex under a heavy stainless rose
• Arm only, letting you choose the head separately
• Chrome electroplated finish that stays looking new
• Ceiling flange and installation instructions included
• 20 year warranty on the arm, 1 year on seals and labour

Ceiling mounted, so there's plumbing to run above the ceiling. Ask your plumber to check access before you order.

Team it with the Raymor Alpha, Raven or Lavas round roses, or pick the 300mm or 450mm round arm for a higher ceiling.

High ceiling leaving the rose too far above your head? The Raymor Ceiling Mount Straight Square Shower Arm 450mm in Chrome is a plain straight arm with a 450mm drop, made for tall ceilings or anyone who wants the rose closer to head height. No head included, so you can match it with whichever square Raymor rose you like. It's made from brass and finished to match Raymor square tapware, and the pack includes the ceiling flange and installation instructions. Chrome comes with a 20 year finish warranty and Black with 5 years, on top of the 20 year cover for the brass arm and a year on seals and labour. Also available in Black, or in a 200mm drop for a lower ceiling.

• Square profile to suit square roses and matching tapware
• Chrome electroplated finish that matches the rest of the Raymor range
