Thermogroup Econoboard Coated Thermal Insulation Boards 6mm - 8 Pack (5.76sqm)

Heat travels in every direction until something stops it. Without an insulation layer, a good portion of the warmth from your underfloor heating disappears straight down into the substrate. That's the job of the Thermogroup Econoboard Coated Thermal Insulation Boards 6mm, which sit beneath the heating and push the heat back up where you want it. This 8 Pack covers 5.76sqm. Insulation is optional, sure, but it pays for itself over time by cutting your running costs. The coated boards carry an R Value of 0.18 m2k/w, and they're fully moisture resistant and rot proof. There's a warranty against material defect too, running for the lifetime warranty of the original floor covering they're installed under.

• Improves underfloor heating efficiency by up to 50% by preventing downward heat loss and reducing heat up times, so your floor warms faster and costs less to run.
• R Value of 0.18 m2k/w keeps heat loss into the substrate to a minimum.
• 100% moisture resistant and rot proof, which suits the demands of a wet-area floor.
• Easy to install: cut the boards to size with regular hand tools.
• Glue coated boards to a concrete substrate with a flexible cement-based tile adhesive.
• Fix to a timber substrate with screws and washers, allowing 10 washers per board. Add a fixing pack for timber, 1 pack per 10 boards.
• Allow enough insulation board to cover your entire floor area.

Work out your total floor area before ordering so you have enough boards to cover the space. Need a hand? Your plumber can help with the measure.

• 8 x 6mm boards 1.2m x 0.6m
