It's made from cast stone solid surface, moulded in one piece with no joins, so there's nothing to trap grime and a wipe keeps it clean. The matte white finish is velvet smooth to the touch. Because the solid surface material runs all the way through, it won't yellow or crack over time, and it can be sanded back and refinished if it ever needs it. Not many baths give you that second chance. The circular 1350mm design suits both new builds and bathroom refreshes, and there's a 25 year warranty on structural integrity behind it.

Replacing a bath in a standard 1700 alcove? The Caroma Newbury 1675mm Bath 280L in White is a straightforward acrylic bath for a back to wall install. At 1675mm long it suits the common alcove size, and it holds 280 litres, enough for a proper soak or a couple of kids at bath time. Acrylic is warm to the touch, lighter than steel to carry upstairs, and easy to clean with a non abrasive product. There's an overflow fitted, which is one less thing to worry about with children. Note that the waste kit is not in the box, so you'll need to buy the plug and waste separately. Made in China.
