Thermogroup Econoboard Coated Thermal Insulation Boards 10mm - 6 Pack (4.3sqm)

Heat spreads evenly in every direction until it meets a layer of resistance. So without insulation under your underfloor heating, a good chunk of your warmth disappears into the slab. The Thermogroup Econoboard Coated Thermal Insulation Boards 10mm - 6 Pack (4.3sqm) sit beneath the heating and stop that happening, keeping the heat where you want it: up in the room. It's an optional layer, but one that pays for itself over time by cutting running costs. With an R Value of 0.30 m2k/w, it improves efficiency by up to 50% and reduces heat-up times. Fully moisture resistant and rot proof too. It's warranted against material defect for the lifetime warranty of the original floor covering it's installed under. Warm toes, smaller bills.

• Lifts underfloor heating efficiency by up to 50% by preventing downward heat loss and shortening heat-up times, so your system works less to warm the room
• R Value of 0.30 m2k/w ensures minimal heat loss into the substrate below
• 100% moisture resistant and rot proof, which suits the damp conditions of a bathroom or wet area floor
• Easy to install and cut with regular hand tools, so there's no specialist gear needed
• Coated boards glue to a concrete substrate with a flexible cement-based tile adhesive, keeping the boards firmly bedded down
• For fixing to a timber substrate, screw the boards down with screws and washers: allow 10 washers per board, and add one fixing pack per 10 boards
• Warranted against material defect for the lifetime warranty of the original floor covering it's installed under, backing your investment for the long haul

Allow enough insulation board to cover your entire floor area, and check your substrate type before ordering so you've got the right fixings on hand. Need a hand? Your plumber or installer can confirm.

• 8 x 10mm boards 1.2m x 0.6m
