Pot filling, produce rinsing, scrubbing out the roasting tray: a kitchen mixer earns its keep. The Caroma Liano II Pull Down Sink Mixer with Dual Spray in Brushed Brass takes all of it in its stride. The pull-down spray head gives you 360-degree reach, and the flexible rotation locks let you set how far the spout swings, which is handy on an island bench. It's WELS 5 star rated at 6 LT/min, and a 6 star rated aerator is supplied too, restricting flow to 4.5Lt/min. Inside, a 25mm ceramic disc cartridge keeps the profile slim and the action smooth. The Brushed Brass finish uses a hard-wearing PVD process with a 5 year warranty behind it. Practical, and it looks good.

• 25mm ceramic disc cartridge for a slim look and reliable, smooth control day after day
• Two spray options, including a veggie spray, so you can switch between a steady stream and a wider rinse
• Two interchangeable handles included, giving you the flexibility to match your kitchen
• PVD finish backed by a 5 year warranty for a surface that stands up to constant use
• Magnetic spray docking snaps the spray head and hose neatly back into place after each use, so there's no dangling hose
• Cool start design draws only from your hot water supply when you actually need it, saving energy
• Flexible Soft Pex hoses are durable, easy to install and have anti-bacterial properties that don't affect the taste or odour of your water

The handle moves forward only, so you can install this mixer close to the wall. Check your bench and splashback clearance, or ask your plumber.

Team it with the matching Liano II and Urbane II range to finish the look.

The Caroma Luna Lever Lead Free Laundry Tap Set in Chrome is a straightforward pick when you're replacing worn taps or fitting out a new trough. The rounded cylindrical body pairs with small lever handles that are easy to turn. The swivel spout moves aside when you need the space, with a 225mm spout reach to clear the sink. It's solid brass, so it stands up to daily use with little fuss. Inside, a ceramic disc cartridge keeps things sealed tight, which means no more drips and no more tightening the handle every second wash. WELS 4 star rated at 7.5 litres a minute, and the classic chrome finish wipes clean in seconds.

• Ceramic disc cartridge seals firmly to stop drips and cut down on maintenance
• Solid brass construction is hard wearing and holds up over the long haul
• Swivel spout with 225mm reach moves to the side for easy access
• Small lever handles give you simple, precise control
• Cylindrical shape wipes down quickly with no awkward grooves

Swapping the sink tap because the old one wastes water? The Phoenix Arlo Sink Mixer 6 Star 200mm Gooseneck in Matte Black is the water saving version of the Arlo gooseneck: WELS 6 star rated at 4.5 litres a minute, so it uses less than the standard model with the same look and the same reach. Covered by 15 years on the cartridge, 7 years on parts, 1 year on the finish and 1 year on labour. Also available in Chrome, Brushed Gold and Brushed Nickel.

Touch controls for the boiling water, a hose for everything else? The Peppy Taps Signature 4 in 1 Electronic Pullout Boiling and Ambient Filtered Tap in Gunmetal pairs a touch-control interface with a pull-out hose. Tap the panel for filtered boiling water, seven settings from 75 to 98 degrees, or filtered ambient water for drinking, and use the lever and hose for the ordinary jobs around the sink. The outlet is anti-scald. It's the tallest tap in the range at 466mm overall, with a 230mm reach. Lead free brass, 35mm cartridge, WELS 5 star at 6 litres a minute. The box holds the pull-out mixer, under-bench boiler unit, Everpure filter and instructions. Backed by a 2 year replacement warranty on parts and labour. Also available in Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Brass and Brushed Bronze.

• Pull-out hose on a 360 degree swivel spout for rinsing, filling and cleaning the whole sink
• Touch-control interface for filtered boiling and filtered ambient water, no handle to hold
• Boiling set between 75 and 98 degrees across 7 settings, so you can match the drink
• Anti-scald outlet for safer boiling water at the sink
• Lead free brass body with a 35mm cartridge, finished in electroplated gunmetal
• WELS 5 star at 6 litres a minute on the mains side, better than the fixed spout Signature
• Pull-out mixer, boiler unit, filter cartridge and instructions in the box, with a 2 year replacement warranty on parts and labour (12 months commercial)

Single tap hole, 150 to 500kPa. Allow 466mm of height above the bench, hose clearance below it, a power point under the bench and a licensed plumber; the carton is 43 x 37 x 64cm.

What's In The Box

Want the fridge door back from the water bottles? The Peppy Taps Signature 4 in 1 Electronic Boiling and Chilled Filtered Tap in Brushed Nickel puts filtered boiling and filtered chilled water behind a touch-control interface, with normal hot and cold mains on the lever. Boiling covers seven settings from 75 to 98 degrees. Chilled covers eleven from 4 to 14 degrees, fridge-cold or just cool. The outlet is anti-scald. The tap stands 426mm overall with a 200mm reach. Lead free brass, 35mm cartridge, WELS 4 star at 7 litres a minute. The box has the mixer, boiler unit, chiller unit, Everpure filter cartridge and instructions. Backed by a 2 year replacement warranty on parts and labour. Also available in Chrome, Matte Black, Gunmetal, Brushed Brass and Brushed Bronze.

• Touch-control interface for both boiling and chilled, so a tap of the panel does it
• Filtered boiling with 7 settings from 75 to 98 degrees
• Filtered chilled with 11 settings from 4 to 14 degrees, which means properly cold drinking water without a jug
• Anti-scald outlet to keep boiling water safer at the sink
• Lead free brass body with a 35mm cartridge, electroplated in brushed nickel
• Fixed 360 degree swivel spout at 262mm high with a 200mm reach
• Mixer, boiler unit, chiller unit, filter cartridge and instructions in the box, with a 2 year replacement warranty on parts and labour (12 months commercial)

Single tap hole, 150 to 500kPa. Two units go under the bench, so check cupboard space against the 47 x 37 x 64cm, 24kg carton, and have a power point there and a licensed plumber booked.

Add sparkling to the mix with the Signature 5 in 1, or save on the chiller with the Signature Boiling and Ambient tap.
