Heated Towel Rails

Damp towel that never quite dries? A heated rail sorts it. The Nero Bianca 240V Single Heated Towel Rail in Matte Black is a simple upgrade for an existing bathroom, and an easy inclusion in a new one. One rail, clean lines, minimal wall space taken up, so it suits most layouts. The 240V element does the heating. The 304 stainless steel body handles the corrosion that comes with a wet room, and the matte black finish holds its look over time. It's IP55 rated, which means it's rated for safe use in wet areas. There's a 25 year warranty behind it too: quality you can trust at a fair price.

• Simple installation that suits a range of bathroom layouts

Can't find a heated towel rail that matches your tapware? The Thermogroup Thermorad Heated In-Wall Panel Towel Dryer Large gets around the problem entirely. It hides in the wall cavity behind the rail you've already chosen, so you add heating without swapping the rail out or changing how your bathroom looks. It works with any rail, robe hook or ladder, which means you keep the finish you like. Drying times drop by up to 70% compared to a non-heated rail, and it runs on low energy, so the costs stay sensible. The programmable timer is the good bit: set it once and forget it's there. Backed by a 10 year warranty.

• Fits behind any rail, robe hook or ladder, so you can keep your current fitting and finish
• Installs inside the wall cavity, staying completely out of sight for a clean look
• Cuts drying times by up to 70% against a non-heated rail, so towels are ready sooner
• Low energy usage, which keeps running costs sensible
• Programmable timer lets you set and forget the heating schedule
• Covered by a 10 year warranty for confidence over the long haul

This is a hard-wired in-wall unit, so have a licensed electrician handle the installation.

Damp towels that never quite dry out? A heated rail sorts that. The Thermogroup Thermorail Budget Curved/Round 600x800x150mm 80Watts 7 Bars warms and dries your towels, so it's a smart addition when you're fitting out or refreshing a bathroom. It's a 7 bar ladder rail in polished 201 Grade Stainless Steel, and the curved shape adds hanging space between the rail and the wall. The 80 Watt element heats quickly to around 45-55 degrees. Multiflex wiring puts the connection point on the right or left, usually at the bottom, and you can flip the rail to move it to the top. Hardwire it or use the plug-in option: both are standard out of the box. Backed by a 7 year warranty.

• 7 bar ladder layout dries and warms several towels at once, handy for a busy bathroom.
• Multiflex wiring gives you concealed or exposed options, plus hardwired or plug-in, so it suits most installs.
• Curved design adds hanging room between rail and wall, giving towels more air to dry.
• Polished 201 Grade Stainless Steel finish stands up to a humid bathroom and looks tidy on the wall.
• Runs on electricity at low cost, as little as $1 a week, which keeps running costs in check.
• Covered by a 7 year warranty for peace of mind.

It runs on an on/off switch, though teamed with a timer you can set and forget while keeping costs down. Your towels will be warmer than you are on a July morning.

Have a licensed electrician handle the connection. Also available in Brushed Stainless Steel.

Not much wall to work with? The Thermogroup Thermorail Straight/Round 240Volt Vertical Bar 900x142x100mm 22Watts With Optional Hook in Brushed Gun Metal is a heated towel rail for exactly that. One vertical bar takes up very little room while it warms and dries your towel. Handy in a small layout, and a straight swap for a rail that's given up. It runs on 240V and wires directly into your power supply, so there's no transformer to fit or fuss over. The rail's quality 304 grade stainless steel, finished in Brushed Gun Metal to tie in with your tapware. Backed by a 7 year warranty. As a guide, allow one towel per bar.

• Runs on 240V and connects directly to power, so there's no transformer to fit or worry about
• 22 Watts output helps take the chill and damp out of your towel
• Made from quality 304 grade stainless steel that stands up to a steamy bathroom for years
• Optional towel hook fits to the top of the rail, letting you hang two towels against the one bar
• Works with either concealed or exposed wiring to suit your install
• Covered by a 7 year warranty for peace of mind

One thing to weigh up: a vertical rail has less surface contact than a ladder rail, so it warms and dries a touch less effectively. Your electrician will need to connect this to the 240V supply.

Also available in Matt White.

Tight on wall space in the bathroom? A vertical rail is often the answer. The Thermogroup Thermorail Straight/Round 240Volt Vertical Bar in Matt White measures W142 x H900 x D100mm and draws just 22 Watts, so it warms and helps dry a single towel without taking over the wall. Being a 240V rail, it wires straight into the mains with no transformer needed. That keeps the install simpler and removes the common faults transformers can bring. The 304 grade stainless steel build and matt white finish are made to hold up to bathroom conditions over time. There's a 7 year warranty behind it, which tells you plenty.

• Built from quality 304 grade stainless steel, so it stands up to the damp and heat of a bathroom for years
• Runs on 240V power with no transformer required, which makes for an easier install and fewer things to go wrong
• Includes an optional towel hook that fits to the top of the rail, letting you hang two towels against the one bar
• Suits concealed or exposed wiring, so your electrician can work with your existing setup
• Compact vertical design fits bathrooms with limited wall space where a ladder rail won't go
• Covered by a 7 year warranty for long-term peace of mind

A vertical rail has less surface contact than a ladder rail, so it's less effective at drying and warming: plan on one towel per bar. Team it with a timer to keep running costs in check. As this connects to 240V mains power, have a licensed electrician handle the install.

Also available in Brushed Gun Metal.

Damp towels that never quite dry? That's what a heated rail fixes. The Thermogroup Thermorail Straight/Square 600x800x120mm 83Watts 7 Bars - Brushed warms and dries your towels, and it's a straightforward swap when you're refreshing a bathroom or fitting out a new one. At 600x800mm with 7 bars, it holds two towels comfortably. The brushed stainless finish looks much like brushed nickel, so it sits well alongside brushed nickel tapware. It's built from 201 Grade Stainless Steel and runs at 83 Watts, heating quickly to around 45-55 degrees. Being electric, it's energy efficient and can cost as little as $1 a week to run. Backed by a 7 year warranty.

• Multiflex wiring gives you a connection point on the right or left-hand side, so it fits your bathroom layout without fuss
• The rail can be flipped to move the connection from bottom to top, and works hardwired or plug-in as standard, which keeps your install options open
• Choose concealed or exposed wiring to suit your wall and your plumber's approach
• 201 Grade Stainless Steel construction holds up to a humid bathroom for quality that lasts
• Runs off an on/off switch, or pair it with a timer to set and forget and keep running costs in check
• Allow 150mm clearance and plan the position with your electrician for a tidy result

A heated towel rail is hardwired or plug-in, so have a licensed electrician handle the connection.

The Fienza Lillian Heated Towel Rail 600 x 450mm in Brushed Nickel is a simple upgrade, whether you're adding a bit of comfort or swapping out a worn rail. It's built from 304 stainless steel, so it copes with a steamy bathroom and resists corrosion for the long haul. The PVD brushed nickel finish wears well and suits a modern vintage look. • PVD brushed nickel finish that wears well and pairs with a modern vintage style
• Concealed hard-wired installation keeps the look clean, with wiring at the top right or bottom left mounting points to suit your setup
