Shower rail flimsy and the handset keeps slipping? The Caroma Opal Support Shower Rail Straight 900mm in Chrome looks like an ordinary slide rail but is built as a load bearing support rail: 32mm brass, polished chrome, constructed to withstand 1100N, which is around 110kg. That means if someone slips and grabs it, it holds. The chrome slider carries your existing hand shower up and down the 900mm length. Rail mounts with grub screws, drilling templates and a warranty card are in the box. The shower head, hose and wall elbow aren't in the box, so you can keep your current ones or choose new. Need something solid to hold onto in the shower? The Caroma Care Support Shower Set with Inverted T Rail in Matte Black does two jobs: it's an 1100mm grab rail you can lean on, and a shower rail with a slider for the handset. This is the right hand version. The rail is 32mm by 1.2mm 304 stainless steel, so it resists rust in a wet room, with concealed clam flanges and GermGard antimicrobial protection under them. The kit includes a 100mm single function hand shower, a 1.5m Silverflex hose, the head slider and a double check valve.
