Great news! We’ve opened a new trade branch in the South Gippsland town of Wonthaggi in Victoria. The branch is the fifth store we’ve opened across Australia this year.
The branch opening is the next step in our bold network upgrade and expansion strategy that will see us open 20 branches annually in the next two years.
Tradelink’s General Manager, Tim Broxham said that the new branch is another great example of how we’re identifying opportunities to continue improving our service offering to the trade community by positioning branches in convenient locations.
“We know that plumbers prefer not to travel more than 15 minutes from a job to get parts, so no matter where our customers are working, we want to make sure that there is a Tradelink branch nearby,” said Tim.
“We have engaged with our local branch network to understand where the gaps are. Then we put a dot on the map and effectively fill that gap.”
“The plumbing industry in the Wonthaggi and Phillip Island areas is continuing to grow and we saw this as an opportunity to fill a gap in our network and support the local trade community,” said Tradelink Regional Manager Matthew Clark.
The branch is headed up by local Jamie Cann, who has been with the business for 18 months and previously led the Leongatha team as Branch Manager. With over 13 years in the trade industry under his belt, Jamie has the knowledge and experience to assist with any plumbing problem.
Conveniently located at 313 White Road, one of the main highways heading into Wonthaggi, the branch features a large warehouse and will offer the trade community quality plumbing supplies from leading brands, along with our ‘true blue’ customer service.
Tradelink’s bold strategy to significantly expand our national footprint over the coming years, along with our extended Customer Service Promises and new customer loyalty program, Tradelink Rewards, are just some of the ways we are working to improve our offering and service to customers.
