Following on from our new branch opening in Morningside, we’ve opened another new trade branch in Brisbane in the growing suburb of Mansfield as the next step in our branch expansion plans.
Tradelink’s General Manager, Alan Ball said that Mansfield was selected to improve convenience for customers.
“There’s a good mix of new construction in the area and plenty of plumbers servicing the renovation and maintenance markets. We saw this as an opportunity to fill a gap in our network in Brisbane and support the local trade community,” he said.
“Mansfield is the fourth new branch we’ve opened in South East Queensland in as many months, with another three new branches due to open before the end of the financial year.
“Feedback shows that plumbers prefer not to travel more than 15 minutes from a job to get parts, so we want to make sure that no matter where our customers are working, there is a Tradelink branch nearby.”
The new branch is headed up by Branch Manager, Phillip Green. Phillip has been with Tradelink for almost nine years and has worked his way up from Branch Assistant in Toowoomba, to Inventory Controller and then Assistant Manager at the Taringa branch and is now stepping up into the Branch Manager role at Mansfield.
Alan said that investing in growing and developing people throughout their career is also a key focus for Tradelink.
“We want to ensure that we develop people right the way through their careers and give them opportunity to grow through experience, training and setting clear progression pathways. Phillip is a great example of how someone with the talent, the desire and the work ethic can progress their career with Tradelink.”
The Mansfield branch – located at 2/12 Morrison Close, Mansfield – will offer the local plumbing and building community quality plumbing supplies from leading brands, along with first-class customer service – so if you’re in the area, drop by and say g’day to Philip and the team.
